TOVA NUT™ is a one-of-a-kind sculptural artwork shaped as a walnut. It combines a strong black outer form with an original abstract painting inside, creating a clear dialogue between sculpture, painting and research-based meaning.

This piece is based on Market Efficiency and Market Depth (2022) by Tatiana Franus. The research explores how market depth, liquidity and trading behaviour influence price, stability and system efficiency.

The white fragment at the centre of the work suggests a moment of data, value or market activity made visible within a larger system. Its isolated presence contrasts with the dark shell, which holds this energy within a protective and architectural form. The result is a work that feels both visually strong and intellectually grounded.

A distinctive feature of TOVA NUT™ is its flexible presentation. The work can be displayed as a sculptural object on a base, or as a two-part arrangement, with one element suspended on the wall and the second presented separately as a sculptural form.
