Guided by the principle “Rich in Knowledge = Rich in Life,” TOVA NUTS™ is a sculptural invention by TOVA: a walnut-shaped artwork with a painting held inside the shell. The nut gives the work its logic: it protects the core and gives knowledge a physical form.
Residual Alignment belongs to the Retention Collection, informed by TOVA’s research into financial forecasting, value preservation and emotional behaviour within structured systems. The work translates research into form, where memory, retained pressure and future potential are held inside a protective sculptural body.
The light shell holds a red, gold, white and black painting. Red carries intensity and risk; gold refers to retained value; white gives the object a sense of protection and renewal. The title points to alignment after pressure: a moment when remaining traces begin to form a new structure.
Residual Alignment presents TOVA NUTS™ as a compact sculptural system where research is preserved through painting, shell and form.
Technical note
The artwork can be displayed in two formats: stand view and wall view.
Stand view: full height with base 87 cm, width 68 cm, depth 30 cm, base foot width 54.5 cm, total weight 22 kg.
Wall view: height without base 84 cm, width 68 cm, depth from wall 8 cm, weight without base and with the back part detached 5.5 kg.
The 22 kg weight refers to the complete object with its base, not to the sculptural body alone.
