In Pulse Between Lines, vertical white forms move across the dark surface like suspended tones or rising currents of sound. Their shifting intensity creates a sense of tempo, while the underlying structure recalls the hidden framework of a musical score.
For TOVA, this work explores how painting can hold the logic of music without becoming descriptive. The relation between line, interval and repetition gives the image a sonic quality, as if the surface were shaped by resonance rather than by representation. Visual language becomes a space where rhythm may be seen, and where music is reimagined as a changing field of light, tension and release.
