We never see the whole world. We perceive it — in fragments. Through senses. Through inner filters. Through our pain, dreams, and fears. And only then do we give it meaning.

The “Acceptation” series is a reflection on perception and the act of acceptance. The abstract forms represent the fluid, undefined flow of the world. The ear, eye, and lips are symbols of how we connect to it — through listening, seeing, and speaking. Yet these organs appear separately, as if the body — and the experience — is fragmented.

There are no clear stories in these paintings. Instead, there are forms open to interpretation — like words that shift meaning depending on context.

Here, acceptation means both meaning and acceptance.

To accept what cannot be understood

To name what has no name

To find meaning in what slips away
