Zhang is a Berlin-based multimedia artist whose practice explores how images, bodies and systems can be deconstructed and reconstructed into new forms. Working across painting, drawing, 3D animation and installation, he combines organic and technological imagery to question identity, reality and transformation. Influenced by classical music, his works are built like polyphonic compositions — layered, complex and often unsettling. His art explores the space between order and chaos, the human and the inorganic, where new structures can emerge.
