Bold ideas, quiet gestures, and restless energy collide in A Room of Rivers- a vivid snapshot of contemporary practice in London this winter.
TOVA participates in A ROOM OF RIVERS EXHIBITION with works from the TOVA NUTS™ series, presenting her ongoing exploration of the nut as a vessel for knowledge, memory and value.
The presentation brings together three works: The Life Line, Reading the Lines, and Between the Lines, accompanied by physical sculptural elements. Developed through TOVA’s object-based painting practice, the works transform the familiar form of the nut into a conceptual structure in which the outer shell and inner core become metaphors for protection, experience and knowledge.
Through the interplay of painting and sculpture, TOVA examines how meaning can be contained within an object and gradually revealed through observation. The installation invites viewers to look beyond the recognisable form of the nut and consider what may be held within it — between its lines, layers and boundaries.
